When the geometry is the problem

Cars that pull, wear tires unevenly, or handle differently corner to corner are usually geometry problems — not suspension problems. Alignment is where most of them start.

SIGNS IT'S TIME
  • The car pulls to one side on a straight road
  • Tires wearing faster on the inside or outside edge, or unevenly between corners
  • Steering wheel off-center on a straight road
  • The car feels loose or darty since a suspension change
  • Handling that is inconsistent between left and right sweepers
  • You have just replaced control arms, coilovers, or any suspension component
  • You are corner-weighting a car and want driver weight in the seat while we set it

An alignment without corner balancing after a coilover install is half a job. The weight distribution changes everything about the setup — and we do it with you in the seat.

What's included

Alignment and corner balancing together get you numbers that mean something to how the car actually behaves.

  • Four-wheel laser alignment — Thrust angle, caster, camber, and toe on all four corners. Aligned to a target sheet if you have one, or manufacturer spec if you don't.
  • Corner balance with driver weight — You sit in the car at correct fuel load while we set the corner weights. Cross-weight and wheel rate matched to how the car is actually used.
  • Pre-alignment inspection — Tie rods, control arms, and ball joints checked before we put it on the rack. Aligning a worn front end just records the wear.
  • Printout of final numbers — Before and after, in writing. Bring it to the track if you want to adjust from there.
OUR PROCESS

Four steps, and you drive away knowing exactly where the car stands

01
Intake interview

What discipline, what events, what changed since the last time anyone looked. This decides where we look hardest.

02
On the lift

The full check with the car in the air and the wheels off. Every finding gets photographed as we go.

03
The report

A written report with photos, sorted into safety-critical, fix-before-the-event, and monitor.

04
Walkthrough

We go through it with you at the car. You decide what we fix, what you fix, and what waits.

★★★★★

"Found a cracked subframe mount two days before an event that three other shops missed. Fixed it and I still made the tow."

Common questions

What is corner balancing and do I need it?
Corner balancing sets the weight distribution across all four contact patches with your weight in the seat. It matters if you run the car at events — uneven corner weights mean the car handles differently left and right, and no suspension tune will fix that.

Do I need an alignment before corner balancing?
Alignment comes first. Corner balancing adjusts ride height, which changes alignment slightly. We do alignment, corner balance, and a final alignment check in one visit.

Can you align to a custom spec?
Yes. If you have a target sheet — from a coach, a data system, or a previous setup you liked — bring it and we'll align to it.

How often do I need an alignment?
After any suspension change, after hitting a significant curb or barrier, and once a year for street cars that get used hard. More often if you run events.

Book it before the tow

Inspection slots fill fastest the week before local events. Tell us the event date and we'll work backwards from it.
